Oriental green beans
Serves two.
- 1 packet round green beans (boston beans?)
- 1 chilli, finely sliced
- 2 cm cube of root ginger, finely sliced
- 1 clove of garlic, finely sliced
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
Fry the garlic, ginger and chilli for a few minutes in a wok in the sesame oil.
Add the beans and slowly fry, covered, for 15 minutes till they start to soften. Stir occasionally.
Add soy sauce, cover and reduce heat so that they slowly simmer for 10 minutes.
